Since his arrival to the UK Kristian Borring has built his name as a creative and skilful guitarist with great melodic sense and sophisticated harmonic understanding, equally mastering the standard repertoire as well as original material.

A composer and bandleader, he has led his own group to the release of the two acclaimed albums, Nausicaa and Urban Novel (“clean, cool, precise and contemporary” – The Scotsman) but appears also as sideman for numerous artist and has in recent years worked and performed in the UK and Europe with many artist including saxophonist Tommaso Starace, vibraphonist Jim Hart, Polish singer/songwriter Monika Lidke and young British crooner, Ray Quinn. Kristian studied jazz guitar at Conservatorium Van Amsterdam in The Netherlands and Guildhall School of Music in London.
